CONNECT MINISTRY will meet for conversation and fellowship on September 22, 2009, in the LCR fellowship hall at 7:00 p.m. We invite all who are unemployed, underemployed or considering career changes to join us. Please invite friends and neighbors who may benefit from the group. We provide resources with regard to interview skills and techniques, resume writing, job searches, personal asessment and faith-filled support.

In response to the recent downturn in our country's economy, LCR has begun a new ministry...CONNECT. The mission statement of the ministry is "To provide compassionate support and meaningful resources for persons in career transition." We have put together a gifted team of individuals who each bring skills and talents in this area. They are anxious to provide compassionate assistance, walking with those who are unemployed or underemployed.

We offer various types of support, including help with resume writing, interview skills, self-assessment, career transition evaluation, spiritual and emotional support, and referrals. Additionally, we are functioning as a clearing house to gather and post potential opportunities, referring them on to potential employees.
